Andrew Wong Kee

Although managing director at JAB, Andrew Wong Kee is very much hands on at the gym.

Born in New Zealand, Andrew Wong Kee (Wonks) moved to Hong Kong to be a key rugby player for both ValleyRFC and the Hong Kong Sevens team. Prior to his professional rugby career Wonks was encouraged to pursue a career in sport, in particular martial arts, by his father who was an ex-champion boxer. By the time he was fifteen years old he had accrued a world ranking and black belt in Kyokushinkin Karate and an amateur boxing title amongst various other nationally and internationally recognized honours.

With his background firmly ensconced in sports, it was inevitable that he would open his own personal training and mixed martial arts studio. With over 10 years experience within the fitness industry, Wonks has develop and implement a cross functional and sports specific training method that guarantees results. He has sucessfully trained an Olympic athlete, world ranked professional boxers and MMA fighters to name a few.

He is an internationally certified Poliquin Trainer who specializes in structural balance, strength and conditioning for combat sports and general weekend warriors who strive to look and perform at their best.

Andrew is a certified Trigenics (RTP) practitioner which allows him to make manipulations to the body's neurological system for instant strengthening and lengthening of muscles. He is able to provide a detailed analysis of the body's imbalances, in addition to providing "on the spot" assistance to those he trains during a regular session. More recently, he has qualified as the top seed BJJ fighter in Asia and is due to compete at the World Championships in Abu Dhabi in April 2012.
