  • BRAZILIAN JIU JITSU (BJJ)

    Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a form of Martial Arts that revolves around grappling and ground fighting.

    It was built around the concept that an individual can defend himself or herself against any opponent using leverage and techniques regardless of bodyweight, size or brute force. Whether your aim is self defense, competition or just participation, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is beneficial for anyone, young and old alike. Our Brazilian Jiu Jitsu program is headed up by our resident Brazilian blackbelt, and active fighter Professor Rodrigo Caporal.

  • BOXING

    Not only is boxing therapeutic and a fantastic stress reliever.

    But it is also one of the most effective and fun ways to drop body fat, develop overall fitness and increase dynamic flexibility, balance and co-ordination for both men and women of all ages and fitness levels.
    JAB offers boxing as a conditioning component for body composition programs, a self-confidence tool for children and adolescents, and at a more technical level for those who want to advance their skills for both personal development or competition.
    JAB has a team of both semi-professional and amateur white collar boxers who regularly compete in inter-club competitions and international bouts. JAB is also responsible for the training component of the annual hedge fund fight night. Please talk to your boxing instructor if you are interested on a competitive level.

  • KICKBOXING

    Kickboxing combines karate-type kicks with the art of boxing.

    Both karate and boxing on their own are vigorous workouts, but the combination of them allows you to train both your upper and lower body simultaneously. From a female perspective, kickboxing is the ideal complement to a weights based body composition program covering the high intensity interval training portion required, with the additional benefits of lengthening and leaning out all those female specific problem zones.

  • MIXED MARTIAL ARTS

    MMA is one of the fastest growing sports within Asia.

    Thanks to the hugely popular UFC hitting the airwaves, MMA is one of the fastest growing sports within Asia. Mixed Martial Arts combines both stand up techniques and a good ground game to bring you an exciting discipline to both watch and participate in. JAB was named by Fight Nation as one of the Top Ten MMA Gyms in Asia in 2012, and is represented in RUFF China by our very own Brazilian Jiu Jitsu World Champion blackbelt and BJJ head honcho, Professor Rodrigo Caporal.
    MMA training within JAB is inclusive of boxing, kickboxing and BJJ, making it an extremely challenging full body and cardiovascular workout. We are able to cater to all levels from beginner through to those who are interested in taking part in our regular sparring sessions and competitions.
